Oxford Lancers Proudly Introduce the 2016-17 Coaching Staff
As of the end of the 15-16 season, our Head Coach, Andy Mck, left Oxford which meant he stepped down as Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator and Defensive Coordinator, however he will still contribute to the team as a distant coach in the role of Football Consultant.
We also have seen several other 15/16 coaches leave the team and we wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors:
Coach Marcel: Our QB guru, moved back to Switzerland, where he just played for the Swiss national team.
Coach Jamie: A former Lancer, and Defensive line coach from last year is now living in London and has had to sadly relinquish his role.
Coach Tom: Our linebackers coach was a Loughborough student last year doing a placement work year in Oxford, however he will be back in Loughborough this year. We look forward to see him kit for his uni team, as well as be a distant coach for us, under the guise of Video Analyst.
The newly elected student exec have now recruited a new Head Coach: Adam Goldstein. Coach Goldstein worked last year as Running Back coach and Assistant Head Coach. He has been working all summer to build our biggest coaching staff yet. We are really looking forward to having such an experienced and dynamic group of coaches with years of football playing and coaching experience to take our players (new and old) into division 1.
